Cherri Buijk is a 2021 Lambda Literary Fellow and has been published in Foglifter, Catamaran Literary Reader, and Shirley Magazine. She earned her MFA from Florida Atlantic University where she completed her first collection of short stories.
A native of the Midwest, she is now a Floridian who lives between an ocean and a swamp. She votes yes to weird queer heroes and her name is pronounced BUICK, like the car.
